Laurel's Fourth of July Parade is as big as its 100th birthday this year! And Laurel's Fireworks Show holds its place as the largest in the state. It is sponsored by the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department.

The parade route for the Laurel Chamber of Commerce’s Centennial Grand Parade has changed since last year to accommodate the number of entrants and spectators.
